Man’s Best Friend.

I didn’t know it, but today is National Spoil Your Dog Day!

You know I couldn’t let it pass without shouting out to some of my favorite pooches, Jack & Milo!

Do you want to know a secret?

It’s kind of silly, actually.

Whenever I think of my dogs, I get extremely homesick. I love and miss my family every day, but there are few things that make me as sad as not seeing my dogs. When my sister sends me a photo of them or I hear them barking in the background while I’m on the phone with my mom, it breaks my heart a little.

I wish I was able to spoil them today, but I’m about 6 hours away from Jack and Milo to be able to do that. Instead, I get to spoil Matt’s dog & Score’s mascot, Sophie!

Sometimes Matt will bring her into the office for the day if he knows he’s going to be here a while. If I’m being completely honest, it’s probably more of a treat for me than it is for the dog! Sophie trots around the office bringing a smile to all of our faces… and leaves a little hair as a surprise for us to remember she was here, too!

If I can’t spoil my own dogs, I might as well spoil his!

When I was apartment hunting this weekend, I actually stumbled across a Pet Carnival in North Royalton, and the area was swarming with adorable dogs! I was super confused what was happening, but in hindsight I guess it makes a lot of sense! Since I’m such a sucker for pups, I did what anyone does when they want to know what’s going on… I googled it.

Dr. Google knows everything.

Turns out, the North Royalton Pet Carnival is an annual event that benefits Molly’s Mission, Give Pets a Chance & W.A.G.S. 4 Kids. Funds raised at the event are matched by the North Royalton Animal Hospital and divided amongst the charities. What a great event for the Cleveland area to have!

Whether you have a dog of your own or not, find a pooch to spoil today! Hug them extra tight, play with them extra long, and make sure to give them a special treat!

Happy Everything,

Great shout out to all the pups! We can’t forget to thank and spoil are besties. How can we donate to the event you stumbled on this past weekend… sounds like it would have been pretty cool to attend with Sophie?

It was a great event supporting an even greater cause! If you’re interested in donating, check out the Cleveland Animal Protective League’s website to learn more. You can also contact them directly at 216-771-4616 to discuss donations or volunteering!
